IBEX HISTORY

1988. Automotive engineer John Foers unveiled his vision for the ultimate all terrain vehicle. IBEX.

The unique semi-spaceframe chassis and minimal bodywork combined the agility of an ATV with the load capacity and comfort of a conventional 4x4 utility vehicle.

It proved to be incredibly capable, both on and off road and was an immediate success. Although originally intended to satisfy the needs of the hill farmer, the chassis spawned numerous variants for many varied applications that have been delivered across the globe.

Over 30 years of continuous development have followed, with son and fellow automotive engineer David, continuing the family business.

The latest incarnation of IBEX, codenamed F8, continues the original design principles with an updated and versatile modular monocoque platform that adapts to rapidly changing technologies and applications.
